Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona

Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona is part of a nationwide effort to spread epilepsy awareness, end stigma, and provide vital support for the 3.4 million Americans living with epilepsy, including 77,000 Arizonans.

Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona supports efforts to raise awareness about how fully autonomous driving technology could bring a greater level of freedom, and independence to people who are living with epilepsy and other medical conditions that affect an individual’s ability to drive.

Nationwide, 1 in 10 people will have a seizure in their lifetime and about 1 in 26 will be diagnosed with epilepsy at some point in their lifetimes.

Fully autonomous driving technology could help people living with epilepsy run errands, commute to work, or drop off their kids at school without having to rely on others to help them get around.

We share Waymo’s vision to build a safer, more connected future and we believe fully autonomous driving technology has the potential to improve lives and create new mobility options for people with epilepsy.
